Punta Sal

Sometimes a change of scenery is necessary, especially when it feels like things aren't working out. Struggling to find contacts led me to try out one of the volunteering sites that gives you accommodation and food in exchange for work. I ended up in Punta Sal for four blissful weeks gardening, helping with the upkeep of the property, and hanging out on the beach. A special bonus was Claus, the manager's dog. Many, many bowls of ceviche were consumed and sunsets were watched.
